Lynn Ng Yu Ling

Lynn Ng Yu Ling was a Graduate Student Fellow at the Centre of Global Studies and a PhD Candidate in the department of political science at the University of Victoria. Her research interests are in global histories of feminist political economy, racial capitalism, and elderly care work in Southeast Asia. Her project was a comparative analysis of the care systems of Singapore and Taiwan, and aims to provide contrasting insights into how eldercare is devalued by Asian developmental states with Confucian welfare familist regimes.
