Avigail Eisenberg is a Faculty Fellow at the Centre for Global Studies and a Professor in the Department of Political Science. Her research focuses on ideas of community and societal diversity. Her project looks at different models of ‘the commons’ and how they account for societal (including ecological) diversity. Her project focuses on ‘commoning’ or cooperative communities in contemporary and historical contexts and how these communities deal with conflict. This project is connected to Avigail’s earlier research on pluralism and identity.
