Jordan Stanger-Ross is a Faculty Fellow at the Centre for Global Studies at UVic. He is also a Professor of History and the Director of Landscapes of Injustice, a 2014-2021 SSHRC Partnership Project on the dispossession of the property of Japanese Canadians in the 1940s. At the Centre, he is working to link his research with scholarship on the internment of Nikkei civilians in allied countries throughout the world in the 1940s and developing a book manuscript with co-author Eric Adams (University of Alberta) on the exile of 4,000 Japanese Canadians in 1946.
