European Studies Program Coordinator

Kristina Wallace was the Program Coordinator for the European Studies program within the Centre for Global Studies at the University of Victoria. Her duties include coordinating the European Union Study Tour and Internship Program; UVic participation in the West Coast Model European Union; advising students pursuing the European Studies credentials; and grant management for the Jean Monnet EU Centre of Excellence research cluster.

Prior to joining the European Studies program in September of 2021, she was responsible for a wide array of financial and administration duties for the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions at UVic. A US native, she previously spent nearly a decade as the program coordinator for the Pardee RAND Graduate School, a doctoral program in public policy analysis in California.

With a background in international relations and multiple experiences studying overseas, she is excited to bring her passion for international scholarship to the European Studies program. Kristina holds a master’s degree in international relations from the Freie Universität Berlin with a focus on post-conflict transitions. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new places, getting lost in a good book, and attempting to develop a green thumb. She also participates in several volunteer activities around the city as well as the Greater Victoria Concert Band.
