Kristin Brandl

Faculty Fellow
Kristin Brandl was a Faculty Fellow at CFGS. Kristin is an Associate Professor in International Business at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business here at UVic. She has held visiting research positions at the Fox School of Business, Temple University, Philadelphia, USA and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, UK. Prior to joining UVic, she worked as Lecturer/Assistant Professor at Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK.
Kristin’s current research studies the impact of (national and global) policy and institutions on international business environments. She is particularly interested in developing countries and how country internal and external factors impact their development processes and business environment.
Her colleague Elizabeth Moore, from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, will arrive later in the term. Together they are working on a project on “Intergovernmental Organizations, Institutional Schisms, and the Global Business Environment.”
