Can Zhao

Can Zhao is a Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Political Science, University of Victoria, and a Graduate Student Fellow at the Centre for Global Studies. Can’s doctoral research examines the why and how the Chinese state manages to parlay foreign finance into a booming home-grown information industry. His fieldwork in China is supported by the CAPI Graduate Student Research Award
