Dr. Eyene Okpanachi is a Banting Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Political Science, University of Victoria. His postdoctoral research which focuses on conflict and contestations regarding domestic decision making over the management of natural resource revenues through Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWFs) is supervised by Professor Reeta Tremblay of Uvic's Political Science. 

Eyene's broad area of research and academic interests are comparative politics and international relations, but he is specifically interested in federalism and federal governance, natural resource management, institutions and institutional reforms, conflict and peace processes, public policy, and the politics of government decision-making.
