Hailing from Quebec, Dugal holds a degree in political science from Concordia University. He has worked in various countries in East Asia in the fields of education, human rights and international justice, and is currently interning with Migrant Forum in Asia. Dugal’s research interests include nation-building and regime change in Southeast Asia as well as system change and international institutions in East Asia more broadly. He looks forward to learning from an accomplished civil society organization and furthering his knowledge of the political and legislative context of migration at the national and sub-regional level throughout Asia.
