Katherine Gust is a Child and Youth Care Counselor, having graduated from Ryerson University. Since graduation she has worked to support NGOs both internationally and domestically: in Toronto at a residential treatment center for young mothers; in Mumbai at a rehabilitation home for exploited women; and in Edmonton, working to support programs for children and families who were displaced from the recent Fort McMurray wildfire crisis. She specializes in creating therapeutic spaces and in developing and facilitating programs that cater to the various barriers a child may face. She is excited to expand her experience in program design and evaluation as a new way to advocate for the best interests of children and youth.
