Chih Chen

Chih graduated with a Masters in Anthropology from Carleton University. She is interested in improving long-term settlement outcomes through anti-racist and feminist approaches to community development. She has worked in Nepal to understand how agricultural technologies affect women’s status, and has more recently become involved in assisting criminalized women access social and health services in Ottawa. She is looking forward to working with the Center for Migrant Advocacy to advance structural protections for migrant domestic workers and understand the impacts of labour migration on women and their families in the Philippines.
