Chad is currently in his 4th year of civil engineering at the University of Victoria, with focus on sustainable development in rural communities. Branching out from the traditional path of civil engineering, Chad wishes to pursue opportunities in isolated communities to provide innovative solutions for the development of education, health care and economic opportunities. With AIMSSEC, the focus is on developing learning and teaching resources for under-qualified math and science teachers in the rural communities of South Africa. Chad is sincerely looking forward to the opportunity to work with the diverse and dedicated team at AIMS, while embracing the unique cultural background that makes up South Africa.
