Bio

Prof. Gaensler is the Director of the Dunlap Institute and is a Canada Research Chair. He is an internationally recognized researcher on cosmic magnetism, neutron stars and the interstellar medium, with over 300 refereed publications. He has been the lead investigator on more than $38M of funded research, is the Canadian Science Director for the Square Kilometre Array, and is the lead investigator of the Canadian LSST Consortium.
