Banner maintenance scheduled for December 21, 2022

The University's central administrative system (Banner) used for student records, payroll and finance will be unavailable on Wednesday Dec. 21, 2022, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. to perform planned system maintenance and year-end updates.

Banner and all services dependent on Banner will be unavailable during the scheduled maintenance. These services include: 

  • Banner Self Service (Student, Human Resources and Employee, Advisor, and Finance)

  • FAST

  • Banner Document Management System (Xtender)

  • University of Victoria Online Admissions application

  • Transcript ordering

  • Banner Workflow

  • APEX applications using Banner data

  • NetLink passphrase change and account management

  • UVic Mobile application

  • Online application to graduate (OAG)

  • Applicant Information Review System (AIRS)

Brightspace, M365/Teams, and Zoom will not be affected. Please contact the Computer Help Desk with any issues or questions regarding this scheduled outage.
