A new scan-copy-print environment is on its way

UVic is entering into an agreement with Ricoh Canada to provide new multifunction (copy / print / scan / fax) devices, printers and fleet management services to campus. The contract with Ricoh is an outcome of the joint procurement process for BC’s 25 public post-secondary institutions and the Ministry of Education, and will begin with site visits by Ricoh to assess how document handling—by photocopy, printing and scanning—works in different campus offices. Information from the initial phase of the project will guide equipment replacement as well as future enhancements to UVic’s print and document management infrastructure. More information about the Ricoh agreement will be available in January.
