Passing the torch

At the end of 2014, Murray Farmer concluded his term as UVic Chancellor, and was succeeded in the post by Shelagh Rogers. At the end of December, Farmer had served an amazing 150 months on the UVic Board of Governors, making him one of the longest-serving elected or appointed board members.
