University flag to be lowered in honour of Mark Preston

The university flag is being lowered on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in honour of Mark Preston, a long-time employee at University Food Services. Mark worked as a Cook 3 since 1993, and was known for his generosity, kindness and dedication. Colleagues have fond memories of going to Mark’s home for homemade biscotti and health bars.  He enjoyed working on bike repairs, sailing and spending time with his beloved Schipperke dogs.

Mark passed away on June 19. There will be no service, but June 24th was special to him as his wedding anniversary.
