University flag lowered to honour former dean
The university flag will be lowered on Saturday, Nov. 23 in memory of Jim Provan, who passed away on Nov. 15, 2013. Provan was the Dean of Engineering at the University of Victoria from January 1993 to June 1997. He continued to teach one course a year until 2011.
A celebration of Jim Provan's life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the University Club at 2 p.m.
