University flag lowered to honour student

The university flag will be lowered on Thursday, August 1 in memory of Mihnea (Michael) Tomescu, who passed away on July 28, 2013. Tomescu was an undergraduate political science student in the Faculty of Social Sciences.

A memorial will be held to honour Mihnea (Michael) Tomescu at Seaquam Secondary School in North Delta at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2013.
