Queenswood rezoning update (December 2011)

Earlier this year, after two open houses and an initial consultative process, UVic submitted a rezoning application to the District of Saanich for the Queenswood property, which was purchased from the Sisters of St. Ann in 2010. After discussion and feedback, UVic continues to take additional time to consider its future use and rezoning of the property. A new community consultative framework for UVic capital project proposals and campus planning will be finalized in the new year and will then help inform the exchange of information and discussion with the community about the Queenswood property.
