Call for Congress volunteers

UVic faculty, students and staff are invited to volunteer for the 2013 Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences. Congress 2013 offers delegates and volunteers eight exciting days of academic excellence, public lectures and community celebrations as part of UVic’s 50th anniversary. More than 7,000 academics and researchers representing 69 associations will be on campus to share findings, refine ideas and build partnerships that will help shape the Canada of tomorrow. Congress will also feature many events and activities that are free and open to everyone including the Big Thinking speaker series, Canada’s largest academic book fair, daily performances on the outdoor stage, an artisan fair, exhibits and social and cultural events.
 
Volunteers will play an integral role in ensuring the success of Congress 2013.
