Expert On Federal Election And Minority Governments
The following University of Victoria faculty member is available to discuss the possible impacts of minority federal governments:
Jeremy Webber (Law) is the Canada Research Chair in Law and Society at the University of Victoria. He is an expert in Canadian constitutional law and constitutional theory. He can comment on the possible repercussions of another minority government in Ottawa, the options that other political parties may have if they wish to govern as a minority or form a coalition government after the May 2 election, and the procedures by which such a government would be formed and its support tested.
