In memoriam: Didier Bergeret

It is with great sadness that the Division of Continuing Studies announces the passing of Didier Bergeret. He was known for his quick wit, and his love of language and music. Bergeret joined the division as a French language instructor in 1987 and remained a steadfast and constant figure throughout the next 29 years. For the past 10+ years, he was responsible for language programs at the division. 

Bergeret passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec. 16, 2016 in Saanich Peninsula Hospital following six months of illness. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 33 years, Diane; daughter, Adèle; sister, Elisabeth; brother, Bertrand; nieces, Sophie, Fanny, Fairo; nephew, Yoda and his family in France and Canada.
