My name is Kevin Tunnicliffe, and I am a sixth-year PhD candidate in the English Department. In my work, I specialize in anglophone modernist fiction and focus on understanding representations of numbness and insensitivity within these narratives. I have spent a lot of time teaching at UVic in various capacities, having been a TA and then Instructor since 2013, and a tutor with the CAC since 2021. My intention at the CAC is to provide constructive feedback that empowers students to express themselves clearly and effectively. I believe in a holistic teaching approach and encourage students to see writing as a process that includes practice and refinement.
