Language of instruction: first language of instruction is Danish, but a number of courses are offered in English
Terms: Autumn semester (September-End of January) and Spring semester (February-June). The University also offers an eight week summer course in Danish language and culture.
Part-time registration: Must register in minimum 22.5 ECTS per term to meet UCPH requirements.

  • Although Copenhagen is a capital city, everything is close at hand, including museums, historic buildings, shops, restaurants, the canals, the famous Tivoli Gardens and the Little Mermaid

 Students can apply for Special Education Support (SPS) at the University of Copenhagen, students are encouraged to contact the counsellors to get an overview of available supports. Housing

  • On-campus housing: not available
  • Off-campus housing: available (International Office will assist in finding alternative off-campus accommodation in shared flats and halls of residence). Please check the University of Copenhagen's Housing website for further details.

Immigration, Medical Insurance & Arrival

Non EU/EEA students must apply for a residency permit to study in Denmark for an exchange stay lasting 1 or 2 semesters. Shortly after you have been admitted, The unviersity will send you the residence permit/visa application form (in PDF format) with instructions on how to apply.
