Terms: UVSQ courses are based on a semester system, divided into a Fall term (semester I) from mid-September to mid-January and a Spring term (semester II) from mid-January to mid-May, with some exams continuing until the end of June. Please be aware that Master programs have their own calendar.

UVSQ is holder of the Erasmus Chart for Higher Education (ECHE).

  • Sciences: biology, chemistry, computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, environmental engineering.
  • Social Sciences and Humanities: economics, management, administration, sociology, history, geography, literature and civilisation (French, Spanish and English).
  • French as a foreign language: 2 courses offered per level.
  • Courses taught in English: American and English Litterature and Civilisation, some International and
  • Political Studies courses.
