William is a PhD candidate with the Department of Anthropology and the Cultural, Social, and Political Thought program. He holds an MA from the University of Guelph in Public Issues Anthropology where he investigated the relationship between intergenerational conflict and acculturation with Latin American immigrants to Canada. His current research investigates the ways that the ethical and moral obligations of Christianity animates and inflects contemporary economic practices in Canada. His fieldwork is geographically located in the predominantly Latter-day Saint (Mormon) communities of Southern Alberta.
