Work, travel & learn

Our BCom program includes 1 year (3 terms) of paid, full-time work experience. Apply knowledge from the classroom in a real-world setting and find what fits.

Experience cross-cultural perspectives and business practices with an exchange at one of our 100+ partner institutions.

Admission

Apply to Commerce (BCOM) as a high school student or a transfer student from another post-secondary institution.

  • If you’re a high school student, we’ll evaluate you for admission to Year 1 of the Commerce program.
  • If you’re a transfer student, we’ll evaluate you for admission to Year 2 or Year 3 of the Commerce program (depending on your completed coursework).

Alternatively, you can apply to UVic in Humanities, Science or Social Sciences and transfer into Year 2 or Year 3 of the Commerce program after one or more years of full-time study.
