Cynthia Johnston Women in Economics
Cynthia Johnston graduated with a Master of Arts (applied economics) in 1986. She had a long career in the energy business in Calgary, where she held executive roles at TransAlta Corporation, TransAlta Rnewables Inc. and FortisAlberta. She retired in 2017 and now serves on the board of directors of AltaGas and Corix.
