Michael Crowe / VFABC Bursary
Michael Crowe was born in Victoria and has lived, worked, and traveled in communities throughout the province of British Columbia. As an insurance professional he has come to see how the commitment of volunteer fire fighters contributes significantly to the quality of life in their communities. They are civic minded, community spirited individuals who train for many hours. Often they are called upon to serve under duress, in extreme circumstances, for the benefit of their fellow citizens. Mr. Crowe is an active supporter of volunteer fire fighters. This award is to recognize a child of one of these“local heroes”.
