After graduating, Pam Alexis (BFA’80) worked at the Vancouver Ticket Centre, which later merged into Ticketmaster. She returned to UVic in 1982 to get her teaching diploma and moved to Japan with her husband Alan Fry, where she hoped to utilize her theatre training and PDPP to teach English. Pam and her family stayed in Japan from 1985-1990, then moved to Dallas for several years.

In 1994 Pam returned to Canada with her husband and two children, settling in Mission, BC. After working at the Clarke Theatre for five years, Pam started her own event management company and brought in shows while also managing the marketing, promotion and production of various events. She was also a school trustee for two terms in 2005, sat on number non-profit boards, was Chair of the Cultural Resources Commission and the Vice President of the 2014 BC Winter Games. Pam was elected to council in the fall of 2014 and is working to create an engaged, healthy and safe community for the city of Mission.
