Andrew Wade (BFA'15) is a playwright and actor based out of Richmond, BC, best known for touring his own productions to fringe festivals across the country, including The Hatter which The Marble Theatre Review described as “A frenetic explosion of a well-loved literary character” and The London Free Press called “a delight, convincing and poignant.” A fringe frequent, he's taken his shows to festivals in London, Nanaimo, New Westminster, Ottawa, Port Alberni, Regina, Salmon Arm, Saskatoon, Toronto,Vancouver and Victoria.

A graduate from the University of Victoria with multiple degrees (BFA: Theatre, BA: Writing), he has recently appeared onstage in Vancouver with Hamelin: A New Fable (Axis), Little Women (Fighting Chance), Floyd Collins (Patrick Street Productions), and Dracula: The Musical? (Awkward Stage). He took part in ten episodes of Sin City Improv's first season back in 2011, and his script "The Romantics" won the 2011 Vancouver Young Playwrights Competition. His fringe-festival touring works include The Hatter, Hullaboo and The End of Everything, William vs The World, and The Most Honest Man In The World. All of these shows have roots in work he created while at UVic.

He wrote the book and lyrics for TITUS: The Light And Delightful Musical Comedy of Titus Andronicus, which was produced and presented by Awkward Stage Productions in September 2016 as part of the Vancouver Fringe and won the Pick of the Fringe award that year. TITUS was also nominated for Outstanding New Work at the 12th Annual Ovation Awards.
