Katherine Stadel

After graduating from the department with a specialization in directing in 2004, Katherine Stadel (née Bethell) immediately moved to Hollywood where she worked and learned in the world of film and television.

Katherine eventually returned to Canada, moving to Toronto where she worked for The Second City. In 2009 Katherine travelled back to the west coast where she worked with The Arts Club Theatre Company in Vancouver as a rental manager for 5 years.

Currently, she works for SFU Woodwards, in the brand new facility in the heart of Gastown. Katherine works with performance organizations to assist with strategic planning of venue management and audience services, while on the side continues to direct and produce for community theatres. Recent directing projects include A Shpadoinkle Musical and Revue at the Revue with Rock Theatre Co.
