From annual favourites like the Plasma Car Race, UVic Artisans Market, and the Pub Quiz, there are lots of ways to get involved in UVic's United Way campaign.

Plasma Car Race

Are you ready for another year of Plasma Car Races? Don’t miss UVic’s goofiest self-propelled car race.

Register your teams of three or four members and mark your calendars for noon on Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026 in the Michèle Pujol Room.

Come out, cheer on and support your favourite team.

All proceeds go to the United Way Southern Vancouver Island.

Pub Quiz

UVic United Way Pub quiz hosted at the Grad House
The Pub Quiz is a fun and engaging event where you can get together with friends and family and test your knowledge. The quiz will be held at the Grad house on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Book Sale

The UVic bookstore has a table set up year-round with all proceeds donated to United Way. 

If you have books you would like to donate, please contact the UVic United Way campaign assistant.
