MEd - Indigenous Language Revitalization (2016)

Chuutsqa supports Indigenous language learners to implement and sustain language immersion environments. She currently works with a language nest that she helped to found, and works with Mentor-Apprentice teams across the province. She teaches language immersion courses both as a volunteer and as a sessional instructor in community partnership programs at UVic IED.

In her spare time, she helps organize language immersion camps and loves creating free language learning resources for her nuučaan̓uł/ḥiškʷiiʔatḥ language websites, ncnlessons.com and hesquiahtlanguage.org.
