ABSTRACT
Abstract:
Coupling light down into surface plasmon poplaritons in nanoscale structures has attracted a lot of interest due to its broad applications in optics, magneto-optic data storage, microscopy, solar cells and biological sensors. In this talk, Applications and some progress in this hot area will be presented in 4 sections: plasmonic bragg reflector, optical microcavity, surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy, plasmonic taper structure. Possible future works will be discussed as well.
