ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Mabo Ito received M.Sc. from the University of Manitoba and Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia. He is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of British Columbia and is currently serving as the Acting Head of the department. A registered professional engineer, Mabo Ito's research interests are in the areas of parallel processing, realtime systems, computer communications, image and signal processing.
