Dr. Obiora Ezeudu

Municipal Solid Waste Management in the Era of Circular Economy

Short Bio:
Dr. Obiora Ezeudu is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Industrial Ecology Program at the Department of Civil Engineering, University of Victoria. He joined UVic from the Centre for Environmental Management and Control, University of Nigeria, where he led several interdisciplinary research in the areas of waste management, circular economy, environmental modeling, and cleaner production.

Obiora had previously worked for over a decade in the industry in environmental and engineering sectors. His research mainly investigates how developing countries can attain sustainable development goals (SDGs) by adopting sustainable production and consumption models specifically designed for their particularities.

Dr. Ezeudu has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc, and a PhD in Environmental Management and Control.
