Short Bio:
Andrew is a Director with the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low-Carbon Innovation, responsible for clean and renewable electricity supplies and public utility regulation. He is also an Adjunct Professor with UVic Civil Engineering supporting research on resilient communities (link: https://www.uvic.ca/news/topics/2023+pics-building-knowledges-building-communities+news). He is the founder of the Greater Victoria 2030 District (link: https://2030districts.org/greater-victoria/), lead author of the Canadian Academy of Engineering’s Roadmap to Resilient, Ultra-Low Energy Buildings and Deep Integration of Renewables (link: https://www.cae-acg.ca/resilient-building/) and chairperson of the CIVE Industry Advisor Council.
