Kelly received her B.Eng in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Victoria in 2020 and currently works at Victoria Hand Project, a Canadian charity dedicated to providing prosthetic arms to amputees in-need, worldwide. As Chief Operating Officer, on top of managing day-today operations, Kelly collaborates with VHP engineers to invent, create, test, and optimize new prosthetic designs, with a particular focus on human factors testing and facilitating communication between clinicians, software developers, and designers. Alongside overseeing marketing initiatives, Kelly actively contributes to fundraising, volunteer coordination, grant-writing, and supporting international partners, finding fulfillment in the blend of creativity, humanitarian aid, and cutting-edge 3D technology, which presents constant opportunities for growth and learning.
