About

Varun was born in Bhopal, India. He holds a Gold Medal in BSc Physics Hons and an MBA in Marketing from the University of Mumbai. He also holds a second Master's degree in Educational Psychology and Leadership Studies from the University of Victoria.

Varun is currently employed with the provincial government, serving the Ministry of Education and Childcare, where he oversees Data Governance and Policy Analysis. He also runs a real estate business with Pemberton Holmes Real Estate Ltd. During his time at UVic, Varun was active in various initiatives, including the UVic Global Community, and served on several committees, such as the Distinguished Alumni Awards and grad committees.
