About

Naima is a management consultant and a social media ninja. She is passionate about stakeholder engagement and the patient journey navigating our healthcare system.

Naima has worked in the health informatics industry for more than eight years and currently works at Accenture where she is a product owner to support the inventory component of the vaccine rollout; she also is the delivery lead for the creation of an interface for communicable disease data. She graduated from the UVIC Health Information Science Program in 2014. After her undergraduate degree, she completed an MSc in Health Services Research (2017) specializing in Health Informatics at the University of Toronto.

Naima has been involved in the UVIC community not only when she was a student but as an alumnus. At UVIC she was a community leader, orientation leader and career ambassador. Currently she guest lectures for UVic students in the Health Informatics Program and sits on the UVic Alumni Vancouver Committee.
