Email delivery issues Thursday Aug 8 2024

Between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM on Thursday Aug 8, 2024, UVic experienced issues with delivery of some email messages. Some email messages were delivered to the Junk folder instead of the inbox folder, and some messages may not have been delivered at all.

We recommend all users check their Junk folder for messages that should have been delivered to their inbox. If you sent an important or time sensitive email to an @uvic.ca email address between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM Thursday Aug 8, we recommend you either confirm receipt with the recipient or re-send to ensure the recipient has received the message.

University Systems has identified the issue and resolved the problem.
