Crystal Tremblay in the TC: Economic & Social Impact of Charity Sector

Crystal Tremblay led a study that looked at the economic and social impact of the charity sector in Greater Victoria. The first study of its kind, it utilized 80 in-depth surveys completed by local charitable organizations, and found that the charity sector generated over $4 billion in economic activity in Greater Victoria in 2016 alone. "Significant impact" is also being made by the sector towards the United Nations' 17 "sustainability goals".
