Esri Canada Names Two B.C. Universities as GIS Centres of Excellence
Esri Canada has announced that Simon Fraser University (SFU) and the University of Victoria (UVic) will be GIS Centres of Excellence. The two B.C universities are part of cross Canada initiative by Esri Canada, a maker of geographic information systems (GIS), to foster collaboration and innovation between GIS researchers and to expand the use of geographic data and analysis into more fields of study.
