Congratulations to our graduate student Taylor Vollman and Dr. Iain McKechnie

They have worked closely with Indigenous scholar Marco Hatch at Western Washington University to gather data for this global paper.

Taylor is currently conducting further research for her thesis on the archaeology of oysters in the Gorge waterway, working to support Songhees and Esquimalt marine stewardship through marine historical ecological methods.
