Two VISPA projects included in Discover Magazine top 100 science stories of 2013

The January/February edition of Discover magazine highlights its top 100 science stories in 2013.

The T2K experiment is included for its discovery of the transformation of muon neutrinos to electron neutrinos. More information about the role that VISPA plays in T2K is found here.

The ATLAS experiment is included for its role in confirming that the new particle, discovered in 2012, has properties consistent with the Higgs boson, the particle predicted by the Standard Model as a manifestation of the Higgs field that imparts mass to the other fundamental particles of the Universe. More information about ATLAS and the role that VISPA plays is found here.
