UVic research scientist wins Applied Oceanography Prize

The Canadian Meteorlogical and Oceanographic Society (CMOS) recently announced the 2015 receipient of the François J. Saucier Prize in Applied Oceanography  as research scientist, Dr. Johannes Gemmrich, Physics and Astronomy/School of Earth and Ocean Science, University of Victoria for his contributions to the understanding of ocean waves and upper ocean processes.

The award will be presented at the CMOS Congress in Fredericton, N.B. on June 1, 2016.
