Canada's superconducting electron linear accelerator produces first beam

Dean Karlen, Physics & Astronomy / TRIUMF, and David Castle, VP Research, are quoted today in a Phys.org article that highlights UVic's leadership and collaboration with Vancouver-based TRIUMF which recently resulted in the first particle beam produced by ARIEL's new superconducting electron linear accelerator.
