TRIUMF studies antihydrogen in breakthrough research

Announced today, the ALPHA collaboration at TRIUMF completed the first spectroscopic measurement of an atom of antimatter using lasers. ALPHA is an international team of researchers, including the ALPHA-Canada groupwhich studies antihydrogen, the antimatter partner to hydrogen. 

TRIUMF / UVic emeritus scientist Art Olin led sophisticated analysis that gave direct evidence for the results reported in the paper.
