Math PhD wins of Governor General's Gold Medal

 Recent PhD mathematics graduate Mark Piraino is the recipient of the 2019 Governor General's Gold Medal. Mark was co-supervised by Anthony Quas and Chris Bose and his research is in dynamical systems and ergodic theory.
